The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is expected to release the official notification for 14,059 vacancies in the Indian Railways on 29th December 2018.
Out of the 14,059 vacancies, 8779 vacancies will be for Junior Engineer (JE) and 4304 vacancies will be for Senior Section Engineer (SSE). The application process for the same will begin from 2nd January 2019 and will continue till 31st January 2019. The information has been confirmed through an internal notice circulated on social media.

RRB JE Vacancy 2019 Details
Vacancies for the post of Junior Engineer and Senior Engineer will be announced region-wise. Here is the approximate number of vacancies for both the posts:

RRB JE Exam Latest Notification: 
- The North Western Railway is expected to release more than 14,000 vacancies for Junior Engineer (JE) and Senior Section Engineer (SSE).
- The official notification will tentatively be released on 29th December through the Employment Newspaper.

Online Application
The online application for RRB Junior Engineer (JE), Junior Engineer (IT), Depot Material
Superintendent (DMS) and Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) will start from 2nd
January 2019. You can apply online at the regional site of RRB. Make sure you
apply online on/before 31st January 2019. Also, check eligibility before you apply online.

Note: Rs 400 will be refunded to general category students while Rs 250 will be refunded

RRB JE Salary
The candidates under RRB JE Recruitment will get Level 6th of 7th CPC
Pay Matrix with initial pay of Rs 35,400/- and other allowances as admissible by RRB.
RRB JE Eligibility Criteria 2018-19
1. Age Limit
The minimum age limit to apply for RRB JE/DMS/CMA is 18 years while the maximum
age limit is 33 years as on 01st January 2019. Please refer to the notification for the age
relaxation of various category.
2. Educational Qualification

Chemical & Metallurgical Assistant (CMA) | 45% marks in the Bachelor's Degree (Science) with Physics and Chemistry |
Note: Those who are in the final year of their degree/diploma cannot apply
for any post under RRB JE. For further details, please refer to the
RRB JE Eligibility 2018-19.

There will be a total three stages of selection:
Computer Based Test (CBT 1 & 2)
Document Verification
Medical Examination
Exam Pattern

Result
The result will be declared for CBT after the successful completion of the exam.
